You are calling a person who you don’t know, and they don’t know you. They don’t know anything about your business and are certainly NOT expecting your call.
You are interrupting their day and most likely annoying the hell out of them.
But did you know…. cold calling is PROVEN to be the best way to produce new leads over all other communication tool? Why is that?
As we seen through the last few years, people NEED and WANT human connection.
You can send emails, videos, tiktoks, twitter, LinkedIn messages etc etc etc…. NONE of these will give you that human touch.
You can research a company till your eyes bleed, and you will still NOT know what their pain is or what issues they are currently having.
Picking up that phone and calling a complete stranger in the middle of their workday and having a REAL conversation is the best way to find out if they are a match to what you offer. Asking open ended questions and being curious will get you what you need to qualify or disqualify a potential client.
